This past weekend, some of the top quarterback prospects in the country showcased their talent at the Elite 11 Regional in Indianapolis. Missouri commit Braylen Warren punched his ticket to the Elite 11 Finals this summer in Los Angeles following an excellent overall performance.
In addition to Warren, several other quarterbacks stood out throughout the day. Here is a breakdown of some of the top performers from the event.
Braylen Warren - Westside H.S. (Nebraska)
Warren was impressive in every aspect of his game. He set the tone early by winning the Panini Accuracy Challenge competition with a score of 26 — the highest score posted at any Elite 11 Regional this season.
With Warren, it’s clear that the performance is not just about the final result, but also about the process. His footwork was incredibly consistent throughout the drills, which is especially impressive at this stage in his development. His mechanics remained sharp and repeatable from throw to throw.
It’s not difficult to see why Warren currently holds 14 Division I offers and is committed to the Missouri Tigers.
Jake Nawrot - Hersey H.S. (Illinois)
While Warren ultimately secured the invite to the Finals, I believe Jake Nawrot performed just as well.
Even during warmups, Nawrot looked the part before he ever threw a pass. Listed at 6’4” and 190 pounds, he immediately stood out physically among the group. Once the drills began, Nawrot came out guns blazing.
The velocity on his throws was noticeable even from the sidelines. While his arm strength was on full display, what stood out just as much was his ability to recognize when a pass required touch rather than power. He consistently showed the ability to layer throws and hit receivers in stride.
It was also revealed during the camp that Nawrot had played in a high school playoff basketball game the night prior in Pennsylvania before traveling to Indianapolis to compete at the Regional. That speaks volumes about his competitiveness.
Given his performance and overall skill set, it would be surprising not to see Nawrot receive an invite to the Elite 11 Finals by the end of the process.
Emmett Queen - Beechwood H.S. (Kentucky)
Emmett Queen also had an excellent showing at the camp.
Similar to Nawrot, Queen’s physical frame immediately stands out. Listed at 6’4” and 215 pounds, he possesses a prototypical quarterback build.
What stood out most during drills was how efficient and controlled he looked. It often felt like less was more with Queen — and that’s meant as a compliment. There were very few wasted movements in his mechanics. His footwork was deliberate, and he consistently stayed balanced throughout the drills.
Over the course of the day, it felt like very few of Queen’s passes ever touched the ground. His consistency and command were evident throughout the workout.
Queen currently holds 17 Division I offers, with a large portion coming from programs in the MAC and the Ivy League.
Other Notable Quarterbacks
Several other highly regarded prospects also competed at the camp, including:
On3’s No. 1 ranked quarterback prospect Will Mencl
On3’s No. 3 ranked quarterback prospect Israel Abrams
Illinois commit Kamden Lopati
Four-star quarterback Jack Sorgi, the son of former Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jim Sorgi
The depth of talent at the event made for a highly competitive and impressive regional showcase.
The Elite 11 Finals are scheduled to take place in June in Los Angeles, California, where the top quarterbacks from around the country will compete for one of the most prestigious honors in high school football.
